Homeowners Association Enguri

Homeowners Association (HOA) Enguri was officially formed in 2008, however, the building was completed before the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1978. The residential building is located on 39 Chavchavadze Ave in Vake, Tbilisi, Georgia and initially housed 104 households. However, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, many of the communal spaces were privatised and converted into residential or office spaces.
History
The building of the residential apartments commenced in mid-1970s and the first residents moved in in 1978. The residential building block was built at the same time as Enguri Dam and was intended to house those who worked on the dam construction.
The building is 12 storeys high, but only 9 storeys are used for residential purposes. The lower floors (below ground floor) are nowadays used by different companies as their offices.[1][2]
Areas of cooperation
HOA Enguri cooperates with various stakeholders to improve living conditions of its residents and promote healthy lifestyle.
HOA Enguri has been actively cooperating with District of Vake Administration. In 2025 alone, District of Vake Administration replaced older, soviet elevators with newer ones, completely overhauled the sewer system and renovated the backyard of the HOA Enguri.[3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10]
Additionally, HOA Enguri made an agreement with GreePole Georgia to install a air-quality-level measuring device at the building to monitor the fluctuating air quality in Vake, Tbilisi.[11]
HOA Enguri also cooperates with other stakeholders, such as Georgian Water and Powers, Tbilservice Group and others, to ensure the residence area is well maintained.
The Association also has an agreement with a local company "Citycom", which facilitates administration of finances of such neighborhood associations.
