Hong Ying Animation Co., Ltd. (simplified Chinese: 鸿鹰动画有限公司; traditional Chinese: 鴻鷹動畫有限公司; pinyin: Hóng Yīng Dònghuà Yǒuxiàn Gōngsī) is an animation studio based in Taipei, Taiwan.

Hong Ying Animation was founded in 1986. The studio began as a subcontractor of Wang Film Productions. After completing a few shows with Wang Film Productions, Hong Ying Animation became their own company and specialized in cartoons. They are well known for working with DiC Entertainment.
History[edit]
In 1986, with only NT.500,000 (120,000 RMB) their president Bobby Hsieh set up Hong Ying Universe Make in Taipei, which is his first stride in founding Hong Ying animation kingdom.
In 1992, Hong Ying founded an animation studio in Suzhou, (Suzhou Hong Ying). With the annual investment over a hundred million to computer hardware and software, Hong Ying become the first fully computerized animation making company in China, whose scale and production capacity is head of Asia digital animation making industry.
At the end of the 20th century, facing the challenge of new millenniums, Hong Ying layouts its strategy on a global scale. Los Angeles office setup in 1997, and Paris office founded in 1999 are the battle front of our globalization.
