Hopeton Eric Brown (September 26, 1974/August 26, 1974 – March 21, 2004) was sought in the United States for his involvement in drug-related activities, as well as for the murder of a man and the attempted murder of a woman at an apartment in Saint Paul, Minnesota, on March 21, 1997. He was also wanted by authorities in Jamaica for allegedly committing two murders in Montego Bay, having killed one individual by a stray bullet and another individual for leaning on his car January 14, 2001. He was then placed on the FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitives in 2001. On March 21, 2004, Brown was killed during a gunfight with Jamaican law enforcement in Barrett Town, Montego Bay, Jamaica.
