Hopun Saikia (born 9 February 1996), is an Indian composer, singer-songwriter, producer and audio engineer from Assam who works predominantly in Indian Movies.[1]

Career[edit]

Hopun Saikia's initial training was in Hindustani Classical Music. He Plays Piano and Guitar also. He Learnt Audio Engineering & Music Production From KM Music Conservatory of A. R. Rahman. His Musical Career started with an Assamese song 'Xudhakantha' which was a tribute to Late. Bhupen Hazarika. Later he Started working as a Music Composer and Producer with many Artist like Zubeen Garg, Papon (singer)[2][3][4][5], Shreya Ghoshal, Shantanu Moitra, Shukwinder Singh, Neel Aakash.

Hopun Saikia was born in Jorhat, Assam. He graduated in Sociology from Cinnamara College, Dibrugarh University. Later he decided to pursue his career as a Music Composer & Producer.

Hopun was born in jorhat, Assam on 9 February 1996 . He is Graduted From Dibrugarh University, Assam

Present[edit]

Currently, Hopun Saikia is working for Bollywood movies background score and music video albums. Saikia also releases his own single 'Keteki'[7] and ‘Haate haat dhori’ in 2021
