Horizon High

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The myth, that started to exist in 1679 after the Dutch War, a strange lighthouse appeared in the Neade area. Nowadays, it is called the Vineta dune in Hoek van Holland, The Netherlands. Every time a ship with children aboard would pass the lighthouse, the children would jump out of the ship, swim to the lighthouse, and would never be seen again. Over 100 children are still missing to date.

In July 1915, during World War I, to make place for a tactical bunker, the lighthouse was destroyed. But, when they left the cleared area alone for one night, the same lighthouse was standing right on the same place they destroyed it. The ground around the lighthouse as red as blood. The workers proclaim that children did this to scare them, and in one day, they destroyed the lighthouse again, gathered a lot of strong men and build the foundation in one day.

Unfortunately, the bunker was never used again due to the fact that all the soldiers that went to the notorious bunker, would hear children playing and whispering that they would see Horizon High if they did not flee. Strange signs and drawings appeared on the wall, and the soldiers ran away to surrender to the enemies. A bit further, on an open space, a new lighthouse appeared on September 1915. Since then, the myth is called Horizon High, to all the soldiers that ran away only screaming those words.
