Hotel Nagoya Castle
Hotel Nagoya Castle is a hotel located in Hinoguchi-chō, Nishi-ku, Nagoya, central Japan. It is operated by the Nagoya Castle Group.
History
The building was constructed and opened as Hotel Nagoya Castle on October 5, 1969. It has over 250 rooms. It is a luxury hotel representing Nagoya with a good view facing Nagoya Castle, a location adjacent to the government office district.[1][2]
On April 27, 2000, as a countermeasure to the opening of the Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel, the hotel joined the Westin Hotels & Resorts at Starwood Hotel & Resort and was renovated and renamed Westin Nagoya Castle with 195 rooms. It was renamed Hotel Nagoya Castle on February 1, 2018, following the end of the franchise agreement.[1]
It was closed September 30, 2020, due to renovations. It is scheduled to open in 2024.[1]
Location
It is located close to the subway Tsurumai Line Sengen-chō Station.
