The Hotel Northampton is a historic hotel in Northampton, Massachusetts, opened in 1927. It was built by Lewis Wiggins, an American entrepreneur who sought to preserve the traditional style of Colonial Revival architecture in its design[1][2] The hotel serves as the preeminent hotel establishment of Northampton.
The Wiggins Tavern, the hotel's prominent restaurant and bar, was first established in 1786 by Benjamin Wiggins in Hopkinton, New Hampshire before relocating to the Hotel Northampton.[3]
