Hotel Tango Distillery
Hotel Tango Distillery is an artisan distillery[1][2][3] in the Fletcher Place neighborhood of Indianapolis, Indiana. It became the first artisan distillery to operate in Indianapolis since prohibition.[4]
History
Hotel Tango was founded in 2013 by Adam Willfond, Brian Willsey, Hilary Barnes, Nabeela Virjee, and Travis Barnes.[5][6][7] In 2015, the distillery won three awards at the New York International Spirits Competition.[8] It operates a tasting room at 702 Virginia Avenue in Indianapolis and an event venue at 1101 E 16th St.[9][10] Hotel Tango Distillery has raised a total of $3M in funding over 4 rounds since 2018. Their latest funding of $500,000 was raised on September 13, 2022, from a Seed round.
Product
Some of Hotel Tango's product line is produced by outside contractors MGP of Indiana and Middle West Spirits of Ohio.[11][12]
