Houla Houla is a 1959 French-Italian comedy film starring Fernand Raynaud. It was filmed in Tahiti.[1][2][3]
Premise
A French schoolteacher is in love with the older sister of one of his pupils. Her father refuses his offer of marriage. The teacher goes to Tahiti and marries a local girl. Then his former French love arrives on the island.

Production
Lee Robinson and his Australian production unit worked on the film.[4] They had collaborated with producer Paul-Edmond Decharme on several other films shot in the Pacific.[5]
