House of HR is a Belgian-based recruitment and HR consulting services company, featuring 49 brands, with commercial activities in 10 countries.
In 2021, House of HR had a consolidated revenue of €2.2 billion, serving over 29,000 customers and providing jobs to over 57,000 people. [1] House of HR is partly privately owned and partly publicly financed via a bond structure.
In May 2022, Bain Capital acquired a 55% stake in House of HR. House of HR management, Naxicap and founder Conny Vandendriessche hold the remaining equity.[2]
History
House of HR’s inception goes back to 1995 when Conny Vandendriessche and Philip Cracco launched Accent Jobs – a temping agency with one office in Roeselare, Belgium.
In 2006, Belgian investment company GIMV took a minority stake, which they sold to Naxicap in 2012. At the same time, the holding House of HR NV was founded and Naxicap became majority shareholder. At that moment, Accent Jobs counted 227 local offices and about 700 employees.
Philip Cracco († 2020)[3] sold his shares and left the company in 2014. In 2022, Bain Capital acquired a 55% stake in the company. To date, Conny Vandendriessche is still a minority shareholder and member of the board of directors.
