Hoverwatch is a multilingual tracker for Android, Windows PC, and Mac OS developed by Refog, a US corporation, in 2011. Hoverwatch monitors and tracks user activity on the target smartphone, tablet, or personal computer.
The main feature of the application is its parental controls. The app can also be used for tracking employee activity because it allows for the tracking of browser history, phone calls, SMS messages, Facebook messages, and more. [1]
History
Hoverwatch launched in 2011 as a business solution for tracking employee activity. One year later, the functionality expanded, and the app became suitable for parents, spouses, and anyone who wants to track activity on a target device.[2]
The application was available only in English until 2013. In 2014, developers began adding new languages every year, and the application has now grown to support 13 languages.
As of 2018, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Hungarian, Romanian, Polish, Slovenian, Turkish, Czech, and Dutch are supported.
Every year, the application enters new markets by adding customer support in new languages. Asian and Oriental languages are slated for integration in the future. As of 2018, Hoverwatch’s user numbers have exceeded the one million mark.

Features
The available features differ depending on the platform — Android, Windows, or Mac OS. Hoverwatch for Android allows users to perform the following tasks:

•Track contact lists and phone call history
•Track SMS or Facebook messages
•Monitor activity on Snapchat, Viber, and WhatsApp
•Take screenshots or photos remotely
•Track Internet history
•Detect SIM card changes
The software for Windows allows users to perform the following tasks:
•Track laptop or PC location
•Track keyboard (keylogger)
•Track browser history
•Take screenshots and webcam shots
•Track Facebook messages
•Record Skype calls
•Save clipboard items.[5]
The Mac OS version allows users to perform the following tasks:
•Record of all keyboard activity
•Track Facebook messages
•Record Chat messages
•Save screenshots
•Monitor visited websites.
Each version includes Invisible Work mode (stealth mode) and allows users to allocate all of the collected data in the control panel.[6][7]
