How to Crack the SSB is a book written by Ujjwal Chugh and its first edition was released in 2016 at World Book Fair, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The book is on Service Selection Board insights & preparation and is for all the aspirants who are looking forward to get into Indian Armed Forces as a commissioned officer. Ujjwal Chugh has got recommended twice from SSB and this book is a manifestation of his real time experience with SSB.
The book's first edition was launched in January 2016 and the book received a very overwhelming response & feedback from the aspirants. The second edition of the book was launched in January 2017 at World Book Fair, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi by the Major Gen. Sunil Kumar (Additional Director General, NCC Delhi Directorate).

The book has been written as per the standards of Service Selection Board with a result oriented scientific approach. The book starts from the very basic, as in What is SSB and how the overall SSB evaluation process is designed. The book gives all the details with clarity to anyone who is new to SSB, wants to know about it in detail and wants to do the preparation for the same. The book has been written with an approach to leverage the aspirants in getting through recommended through SSB and clear off all their myths related to SSB. Officer Like Qualities (OLQs) which is the overall basis of the SSB evaluation and recommendation process has been defined very well with clarity. With every Officer Like Quality (OLQ) author has given a unique scientific way & strategy to imbibe that OLQ as a part of your personality. The Part 1 of the SSB which constitutes Screening test has been explained in detail with all rules & regulation and strategy for getting screened in. The practice tests for screening in the Appendix section has been given for the candidates to take the command over the screening process. The Part 2 of the SSB which includes Psychology, GTO (Group Testing Officer) and Interview has been explained step by step with rules, Do's & Don'ts and important tips. A special template of PIQ Form (Personal Information Questionnaire) has been given in the book with special guidance on how to handle it and fill it, since it plays a very important role during interview process. For the candidates aspiring to be in Indian Air Force flying branch, for them chapter on PABT (Pilot Aptitude Battery Test) test has been given with all the information and knowledge required for appearing in the test.
