Zhejiang Huace TV & Film Co., Ltd (Chinese: 浙江华策影视股份有限公司), also known as Huace Film & TV (Chinese: 华策影视), is a Chinese entertainment and media enterprise established in 2005. It is mainly dedicated to the investment, production and distribution of film and television series.[1]

Huace Film & TV was founded in October 2005 and is headquartered in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. The company over 20 subsidiaries, such as Croton Media, Gcoo Entertainment, China Syndicate, Jinqiu Film, Jinxi TV & Film, and many more. It produces and distribute over 1,000 episodes of television series annually, covering over 18% of the nation’s market share, and is currently one of the largest and most powerful private film and television companies in China.[2]
On October 26, 2010, the company was listed on the Growth Enterprise Market of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, becoming the first listed domestic company with television series production as its main business.[3]
In July 2013, they acquired 100% shares of Croton Media.[4]
On August 27, 2014, the company and iQIYI announced the establishment of the joint venture company Huace iQIYI Film & TV.[5]
In March 2015, Huace Film & TV along with the Zhejiang Provincial Government and the National Radio and Television Administration, jointly established the Huace Film School as part of Zhejiang Institute of Media and Communication. It was officially approved by government of Zhejiang in February 2017, and opened on September 10, 2017.[6]
In April 2016, they reached a strategic cooperation with the China Academy of Art. The two parties created the "Image Innovation Lab," which will focus on the development of VR movies, VR games, animation and other fields.[7] In July 2016, Huace Film & TV announced cooperation with ArtCenter College of Design (ACCD) in film culture exchanges, talents training, and film production.
In December 2017, along with 10 other Chinese film and television companies including Huayi Brothers and iQIYI, the company established a Chinese television series (web series) export alliance in Hangzhou, Zhejiang.[8]
