Huba Hollókői

Huba Hollókői (18. November 1980) is a Hungarian born violinist, conductor, educator. He has studied violin at the Liszt Academy of Music[1] under Prof. Vilmos Szabadi. He continued his studies at the Sibelius Academy with Lajos Garam, and at Hochschule für Muziek und Theather Hannover with Ulf Schneider.

He entered the conducting class of the Sibelius Academy in 2005, where he studied with Leif Segerstam, Atso Almila and Jorma Panula. He conducted various symphony and chamber orchestras in Finland, Hungary, Holland, Germany, Denmark, Mexico, Slovakia and Romania.[2] As opera conductor, he appeared in Finland (Cosi fan tutte, Magic Flute, Rigoletto, Carmen) and in Holland (Don Giovanni, Anne en Zef by Monique Krüs).

He was finalist of the Besancon International Conducting Competition in 2013.[3] For two seasons, he was assistant conductor of the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra between 2015-17.
