Mustafa grew up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She graduated from East Chapel Hill High School in 2018 and participated in PlayMakers Repertory Company's Summer Youth Conservatory, where she performed in Cabaret.[1] A local profile identified her as a Chapel Hill native based in Raleigh.[2]
