Hugo Sacco (born 1 December 2004) is a Maltese-French footballer who currently plays as a goalkeeper for Hibernians in the Maltese Premier League.
Club career
Hugo Sacco spent his time at the youth academy of Marseille until 2022.[citation needed]
In the Summer Transfer window of 2022, Sacco joined the Marseille B team. He played 2 games for the team.[citation needed]
In August of 2023, Sacco signed for the Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds as a free transfer.[citation needed]
In January of 2024, Sacco signed for Hibernians also as a free transfer.[1] He is currently the starting goalkeeper for the team.
International career
Hugo Sacco began his international career in 2023, with the Malta U-19 team. He played 3 games for the team, all of them being in the 2023 UEFA European Under-19 Championship.[2]
Sacco was called up for the Malta U-21 team, also in 2023. As of May of 2024 he has played 7 games for them.[citation needed]
