Hugo Shorter

Hugo Benedict Shorter (born 11 August 1966) is a British diplomat.[1] Shorter graduated from The Queen's College, Oxford in 1988 and joined HM Diplomatic Service in 1990.[1] He served as British Ambassador to Lebanon from 2015 to 2018.[1] He is currently Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the UK Mission to Afghanistan.[2]
