Hui Buh: The Castle Ghost (German: Hui Buh: Das Schlossgespenst) is a 2006 German fantasy comedy film directed by Sebastian Niemann, based on the character of the same name created by Eberhard Alexander-Burgh. The film stars Michael Herbig, Christoph Maria Herbst, and Ellenie Salvo González.

The film received mixed critical reception but was a modest success at the box office, grossing €10.4 million worldwide against its €10 million budget.[2]

Almost immediately after the film's release a sequel was rumored. Producer Christian Becker mentioned the project in an interview, stating that he was working on a sequel with the same cast to be set in the Far East.[3][2]
