The Hume City Broncos are a Senior basketball club who play in the Big V [1] competition. Also known as the Broadmeadows Basketball Broncos, affiliated with the Junior Broadmeadows Broncos who play in the VJBL competition in Victoria.

The Broadmeadows Basketball Association (Hume City Broncos) was founded in 1978, originally known as Northern Districts Basketball Association. The name change to Broadmeadows Basketball Association was approved in 1981, and became an incorporated body in 1983.

The Broncos have won 6 Senior Championships in the Big V competition, making them one of the most successful clubs in Big V history (Men in 2004, and Women in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2013, 2014 & 2016). The Broncos have also won 2 Youth League Championships (Division 1) in 2005 (Men) and 2015 (Women).

Currently, the Broncos have 4 teams (2 senior, and 2 youth): Senior Championship Men, Senior Championship Women, Victorian Youth Championship Women and Youth League Division 1 Men.
