The Hungarian Youth Conference (HYC) is the highest level forum, of the Hungarian youth on both sides of the borders, which was created by the aid of the Hungarian government in Budapest 1999 November 27th.

Workings[edit]

Their strategic goal is to include the Hungarian youth into the creation of national youth politics. By this it`s possible to support Hungarian youth communities outside the border, with financial, political and diplomatic aid. Their other goal is to create channels of communication between the youth communities and the creation of different professional or leisure events. With the cooperation, more people will have the chance to attend these events. The HYC serves mutual friendship between organizations. Deed of Foundation[edit]

We, the undersigned – Hungarian youth and it`s organizations representatives- here in Budapest on this day, are creating the Hungarian Youth Conference. In our minds, The Hungarian Youth Conference is a panel for Hungarian youth from both sides of the border, where they can think together, understand and discuss each other`s plans and with cooperation realize they`re common thoughts.

The basis of our work is the understanding, that the Hungarian youth and it`s organization`s are working with the core values, independent from the region of their activities. These values are : the knowing of belongingness to the Hungarian nation, staying in our homeland, remembering and caring about traditions, the value-creating effort of communities, respect of eruditeness and the useful, valuable  spending of free time.

The goal of our cooperation is that more Hungarian youth would have the possibility to attend transborder events and programs, promoting spiritual and physical well-being.  Our goal is to share the feeling of unity, so that we can experience the joy of cooperation.

We, the founders of The Hungarian Youth Conference have decided, that our members  would  assemble twice a year , in autumn and spring, all around the Carpathian Basin to discuss our common matters.

The founders of The Hungarian Youth organization are asking those, that feel liable for the future of the Hungarian youth to cooperate with actions and thoughts.

Budapest 1999, 27th of November
