Hunter Fujak
Dr Hunter J. Fujak is is an Australian author and academic in the field of sport broadcasting, consumer behaviour and sport culture.[1][2]
Biography[edit]
Fujak has a PhD from the University of Technology Sydney exploring sport consumer behaviour within Australia's crowded sporting landscape, and lectures in Sports Management at Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia[3]. He is the Author of Code Wars - The Battle for Fans, Dollars and Survival, the first book to analyse the intense cultural and commercial competition between Australia's 4 major football codes, the AFL, NRL, Super Rugby and A-League.[4][5] Fujak has written extensively on Australian Sports Broadcasting[6][7], and the Barassi Line, which divides areas where Australian Rules Football is the most popular football code from those where Rugby League and Rugby Union dominate.[8]
