Huntlands Estate

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The Huntlands Estate is a Housing Estate which is located south to the Hasbury Area to Halesowen, The Huntlands was built from 3 housing developers between 1967 and 1970, most the houses in this estate are built from quite a rare brick, where instead of using your typical clay bricks, the developers used concrete bricks instead. Concrete bricks are much stronger, and last longer. However concrete bricks are no longer availed so any residents wanting to have extensions and building work find it difficult to find a matching brick type. Before the estate was constructed, all the land was farmland, hence the name. Some parts of the farmland is still there, which is located across the Halesowen by-pass that was built before the Huntlands estate to take stress of the Hagley Road[1].The Huntlands
