Hypothetical Vomit is an American punk band from Boston, Massachusetts. As of 2018, Hypothetical Vomit has released seven EPs, as well as a full-length album, Twister Boy. The band has also released two live albums, Live Vom: At the Floor and IN the Shell.
History[edit]
Hypothetical Vomit formed in Boston in 2017. The band consists of three members: Low Dog, The J, and Kyle, who is referred to with a different nickname on each release.
As of November 22, 2018, they have written and recorded 50 songs, all of which more or less fall under the punk classification. Their traditional instrumentation consists of guitar, bass, drums, and vocals, which are sung, spoken, shouted, whispered, screamed, or muttered depending on the song. Each release ends with (or, in the case of the Guster of Wind EP, opens with) a spoken greeting by Low Dog and The J to their listeners, expressing their excitement for the release and thanking their audience for listening.
