Hypothetical Vomit is an American punk band from Boston, Massachusetts. As of 2018, Hypothetical Vomit has released seven EPs and a full-length album, Twister Boy. The band has also released two live albums, Live Vom: At the Floor and IN the Shell.

History

Hypothetical Vomit formed in Boston in 2017. The band consists of three members: Low Dog, The J, and Kyle, who is sometimes referred to by different nicknames on different releases.

As of November 22, 2018, they have written and recorded 50 songs, most of which are classified as punk. Their traditional instrumentation consists of guitar, bass, drums, and vocals, which are delivered through singing, speaking, shouting, whispering, screaming, or muttering, depending on the song. Each release concludes (or, in the case of the Guster of Wind EP, begins) with a spoken greeting by Low Dog and The J, expressing excitement for the release and thanking the audience.
