The MobED, Mobile Eccentric Droid, is a small mobility platform robot for Hyundai Motor Group.[1][2][3]

Details[edit]

MobED was first unveiled on December 16, 2021.[4] The MobED has four wheels on a flat rectangular parallelepiped-shaped body. The posture is maintained on the inclined road or irregularities through the independent operation of each wheel. In addition, the wheelbase and steering angle is freely adjusted, enabling stable driving in an urban environment and use as a service robot.[5]

If the size of the mobile platform is expanded to a level where people can board, it can be used as manned mobility for one person. Otherwise, it can carry an infant.[6]
