IASAS Boys Basketball

The IASAS basketball tournament is an annual interscholastic competition among the six member schools of the Interscholastic Association of Southeast Asian Schools. The tournament features boys’ and girls’ basketball teams, promoting athletic excellence, sportsmanship, and cultural exchange among students in the region. Since its inception, IASAS basketball has become a major event on the international school sports calendar in Southeast Asia.

History

The IASAS basketball tournament began in 1983,. The event was created to provide student-athletes from member schools with the opportunity to compete at a high level while fostering camaraderie and intercultural understanding. Over the years, the tournament has grown in competitiveness and popularity, with schools alternating as hosts.
