ICONICBETA is a New York-based provider of thematic indexes that help facilitate access to disruptive global investment themes. The company launched the QUINCY100™ index, the first Streaming Music, Media and Entertainment Index in collaboration with award-winning industry icon, Quincy Jones.[1] [2] The index provider is known for working with notable operators and iconic thought leaders within the specific industries the indices track.
History
ICONICBETA was founded in 2017 by Donna Nairi as a thematic index provider. Quincy Jones joined as the founding ambassador and index thought leader behind the QUINCY100™ index (Bloomberg: QUINCY), a benchmark for the streaming music, media and entertainment industry. A U.S. Exchange Traded Fund was filed with the SEC in 2017 which intends to track the QUINCY100™ Index.[3] [4]
The company, together with Quincy Jones and Professor Alan Krueger headlined the world's largest ETF conference, Inside ETFs (owned by Informa) with a panel titled "Creativity, Disruption & Investing" in January 2018.[5] [6] [7] [8] [9]
Indices
The ICONICBETA index series can be used for industry benchmarking and by investment product issuers for the creation of index tracking funds.
