The I.C. Kings are a drag king troupe based in Iowa City, Iowa. They were founded in 2009 and perform monthly shows at Studio 13, a local LGBTQ+ nightclub. The troupe consists of several performers who adopt masculine personas and stage names, such as Hugh Jindapants, Wiley Guyote, Scott Abigwun and Abel Justice. The I.C. Kings aim to bend gender and challenge stereotypes through their theatrical and musical performances ¹²³.
