iDevice Central (created 20 June 2011), also known by their Twitter alias GeoSn0w, is an Italian content creator with over 134.500 thousand subscribers focused on iOS jailbreak, hacking and general iOS review content. Their channel has garnered over 26 million views since they've started posting circa 2015, in a relatively small community that is iOS jailbreaking/modding.

Not much is known about the person running the channel, other than they're a male from Italy somewhere in their 30s. iDevice Central has always kept its real identity separated from its internet persona.

YouTube[edit]

iDevice Central is one of the oldest content creators in the iOS jailbreak community. Their primary content focuses on guides about modifying iOS on Apple devices through Jailbreaking. Aside from creating tutorials and guides on how to jailbreak various iOS versions and devices, iDevice Central has also developed various tools in the community, most notably iSecureOS, an Open-Source iOS security application.[1], and Osiris Jailbreak[2] and the IconKeyb10 jailbreak tweak[3].

As of October 2021, iDevice Central has produced 1,555 videos, has 134.500 thousand subscribers to their primary YouTube channel iDevice Central and over 92.000 thousand followers on their iOS Jailbreak-related Twitter (FCE365).

Nominations and awards[edit]

In 2019, YouTube has awarded iDevice Central with their Silver Play Button award upon surpassing 100.000 subscribers, indicating that iDevice Central has successfully passed YouTube's review for compliance with their criteria for the Silver Play Button award.

In 2020, an iOS Jailbreak publication called "Silzee" contest where the jailbreak community can pick their most reliable or favorite YouTuber for iOS jailbreak-related content. The community had 1 month at their disposal to nominate and vote for their favorite content creator. The Silzee contest has concluded with GeoSn0w (Twitter alias of iDevice Central) being voted by the community to the first place[4]

Network and sponsorships[edit]

iDevice Central was formerly part of the Freedom! MCN, but has left the network after YouTube permanently terminated their relationship with the MCN. Nowadays, iDevice Central is not part of any network.

They are often sponsored by Wondershare, Tenorsare and iMobie for video reviews of their iOS-related software.
