II II II II (also called Eleven Eleven) is a guitar amplifier simulation audio plug-in developed by Otto Audio, LLC. It was released in May 2021[1] and is designed for heavy, down-tuned guitar music.[2][3] The developer markets it as "the heaviest amp sim".[1]
History
According to the developer, work on the software began in 2020 and it was released in May 2021.[1] Premier Guitar carried an announcement of the release in November 2021.[2] Otto Audio has since released other products, including the distortion plug-in Blown Out Wall, the sampled baritone-guitar instrument DJAA MAASTA,[4] the sampled bass instrument L.E.A.D. Bass,[5] and HEAVIER, a plug-in for processing the output of other amplifier simulators.[6] As of 2026 the current version is 1.7.7, which runs natively on Apple silicon.[1]
Features
The plug-in is available in Audio Units, VST3 and AAX formats for macOS and Windows, and as a standalone application.[3][1] Its amplifier section offers 13 selectable voicings, a choice of EL34, 6L6 or KT88 power tubes, and controls for bias, voltage sag, negative feedback and speaker-impedance curve.[1] It includes a set of built-in impulse response cabinet simulations, which can be bypassed to use external impulse responses,[1] and a "WIIIDTH" control that produces a double-tracked stereo effect from a single guitar signal.[2][1] Licensing uses an iLok account without requiring a USB dongle.[1]
