The IKF Asia-Oceania Korfball Championship 2022 was the 11th edition of the Asia-Ociania Korfball Championship. The tournament was held in Pattaya City, Thailand and was the first international korfball tournament the country hosted.[1] The tournament consisted of 12 teams from Asia and Oceania, splits into 2 groups, and was played from 28 November to 4 December. The top 8 teams would also qualify for the 2023 IKF World Korfball Championship in Taipei, Taiwan.[2] Chinese Taipei are the defending champions and have won all previous editions, except the edition of 2004 which was won by Australia.
Group stage[3][edit]
The twelve participating teams were drawn into two groups of six, with teams in each group playing one another in a round-robin basis. The top two teams in each group qualify for the semi-finals, while the teams finishing third and fourth playoff for places 5 to 10. The two teams finishing last will play for 11th place.

Knockout stage[3][edit]
Teams finishing 1-8 will qualify for the IKF World Korfball Championship 2023. Therefore an aditional play-off round is played between teams 5-12. Winners of the first play-off round qualify for the 5th-8th place matches, losers of the first round qualify for the 9th-12th place matches.
