Mister Indonesia or (IMP Mister Indonesia) is the name of a national male pageant competition held by Indonesia Male Pageants Organization (IMP Organization).[1]
History
IMP Mister Indonesia was previously known as Mister Photogenic Indonesia, and at the beginning of 2015, it was changed to IMP Mister Indonesia. The pageant was founded in 2015 by Edin Muhammad, Founder of Indonesia Male Pageants Organization (IMP Organization).[2]
The first edition of IMP Mister Indonesia was held from 4 to 10 December 2014 in Bali. Twelve contestants were selected to represent a number of provinces. The first edition was held at Bhumiku Ballroom. Damian Ronny Chandra, representative of West Kalimantan, was the champion of the first edition. He was directly crowned by the founder of IMP Organization.[3]
IMP Mister Indonesia has officially owned Mister Indonesia, Mister Teen Indonesia and Mister Universal Ambassador.

IMP Mister Indonesia is produced and owned by Indonesia Male Pageants Organization (IMP Organization).
Competition formats
There are 6 official competitions in this pageant: SPORT COMPETITION, SPEECH COMPETITION, TEEN TOP MODEL, TALENT, MULTIMEDIA, INTERVIEW and PSYCHOLOGY TEST. The number of highest points from these competitions will decide the semi-finalists during the final night. On the final night, semi-finalists will compete in modelling and a stage interview.

In 2014, Mister Indonesia was previously called Mister Global Indonesia, because the pageant had only handled the Mister Global franchise. Since 2015, the pageant was officially renamed Mister Indonesia at the press conference.[4]

In 2014, there was no runner-up in Mister Indonesia. Since 2015, the 1st Runner-up has been announced and automatically became the Mister Indonesia Youth Ambassador. This title will represent Indonesia at the Mister Universal Ambassador pageant.
