INSITUM is a privately owned design and strategic innovation consulting company which helps organizations improve their services, products, brands, and processes by combining a variety of agile, design thinking methods grounded in behavioral science, ethnographic research, and business strategy.[1][2][3][4]

INSITUM[edit]

INSITUM specializes in solving innovation challenges for organizations by employing human-centered design.[5][6][7][8] The company handles international, regional, and local projects for clients in four major sectors: technology, consumer goods, financial services, and healthcare.[5][6] INSITUM was listed by Fast Company as one of the world's top 10 innovative companies of the year 2015 in Latin America.[1][9]

History[edit]

In 2002, Luis Arnal started the company in Mexico City with help from Leslie Tergas and Roberto Holguin. A few months after, Tergas left and Holguin joined as Partner. During subsequent years, the team grew, new offices were opened in other countries and new partners joined, both promoted from within or hired as part of the global expansion. Currently, Luis Arnal is the CEO and co-Founder at INSITUM and several of its partners have been completed graduate studies at IIT’s Institute of Design.[10][11][12][4][13]

Services[edit]

INSITUM is structured around several practice specializations, such as service design, healthcare innovation, product strategy, digital strategy, strategic research, organizational innovation, as well as social and government innovation.[1][2][3][4]

Organizational Culture[edit]

The organizational culture of INSITUM is based on a number of principles, such as collaboration, openness, adaptability, resiliency, fearlessness, empathy, impact, creativity and user-centeredness.[14]
