iPadOS 28 will be the 9th and the next major release of iPadOS, Apple's operating system for the iPad. It is expected to be announced in June 2027, at the annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). It will be the direct of successor to iPadOS 27 and will most likely be announced alongside iOS 28, macOS 28, watchOS 28, visionOS 28, and tvOS 28.
