iProcure is a company based in Nairobi, Kenya that uses technology and data to supply agricultural inputs.[1] The company offers services such as procurement, last-mile distribution, stock management, and business intelligence with the aim of enhancing the supply chain in rural areas of Africa.[2]

History

iProcure was established in 2013 by Stefano Carcoforo, Nicole Galletta, Patrick Wanjohi, and Bernard Maingi as an agri-tech firm focused on reducing farmers’ production costs through data-driven optimization of farm input distribution channels.[3][4]

iProcure has received over $14,800,000 in venture capital funding from various investors such as Investisseurs & Partenaires (I&P), Ceniarth, British International Investment, and Novastar Ventures.[5][6][7] The company recently completed a Series-B funding round and raised $10.2 million, bringing the total funding raised to over $17.2 million.[8][9][10]

In August 2022, Niraj Varia replaced Stefano Carcoforo as the CEO of the company.[11]
