iTVmediaPlayer (also known as “iTV Media Player” and occasionally abbreviated “iTVMP”) is a premium TV software (or app). As per its official website description (iTVmediaPlayer.com), iTVmediaPlayer offers over 200,000 TV channels (live and on-demand) and over one million movies and shows, legally. It is compatible with all Windows PC systems and Android devices (including smart phones and tablets.) For a larger image, users are encouraged to connect their computers or mobile devices to their home TV, using an HDMI cable (not included) or by any other connection.[1]

The iTVmediaPlayer platform is owned by BitMar Networks;[2] which runs on the itvOS cloud-based operating system (itvOS.org); also owned by the same.[1][3]

The official website points out that, unlike Cable or Satellite, iTVmediaPlayer uses your Internet connection to connect your already-owned Windows and Android devices to the hundreds of thousands of live and on-demand TV channels, free HD movies and shows. Therefore, regardless of where you live on the planet, it can serve as your main TV service. The official description also suggests that, thanks to its aggregative nature, iTVmediaPlayer actually offers you much more content than most satellite/cable TV service providers individually.[1]

Devices[edit]

iTVmediaPlayer can run on all Windows and Android devices that support video streaming,[1] which may require the capability of running the Adobe Flash Player plug-in. This includes personal computers (PC) and Android operating system mobile devices; such as smartphones and Tablet computers.[1] Additonally, iTVmediaPlayer can be adapted to run on any Web-enabled device, by any programmer (by implementing the itvOS SDK.)[3]
