I Got a Story to Tell is an American urban thriller/horror anthology television series created by Marcus Smoot. The series premiered on BET+ on December 15, 2022.[1]
Plot[edit]
Each episode of horror stories, are introduced by different characters who in the midst of talking with others on various subjects and issues surrounding love, desire, lust and terror, have a scenario to share based on the presenting conversation. They set the tone narrating the proceeding story similar to the structure of Tales from the Hood, The Twilight Zone and Alfred Hitchcock Presents leading the episode with saying to the listener "I got a story to tell...".

Angela and record producer Charles (Pooch Hall) are mourning the death of their newborn. He however dies after getting hit by a car during his break from the recording studio. His spirit begins to haunt Angela as he tries to comfort her through his unfinished music. Rachel, her friend who is a ghost whisperer helps her understand his presence. They go on a mission to understand the mysteries of Demons creek where children souls were stolen, which was a project Rachel was doing with the help of Angela. Having traumatic experiences while seeing spirits in Angela's house, Rachel brings her young niece Lily to stay with Angela for a few days to offer comfort. The spirits continue to threaten Angela's home, which leads Rachel and Angela they go to a bookstore to get info about burying souls but learns that a sacrifice must be made in order to rid the spirits. |
