Plot

Zeenat and Rajveer are the female and male protagonists of the novel. The novel starts with Zeenat, who was living in the brothel of Garstin Bastion Road, New Delhi. She spent more than five years of her life there. One fine day, she met Ram who used to come here as a customer but never touched or neither demanded any sexual attention. After a few weeks, Ram introduced himself as a social worker and made her believe that he'll help them to escape from the place. After a few days, they escaped from the place and she started living happily. Another side, he started falling for her but unaware of her story. One fine day, she thinks that she should tell everything to him. She called Rajveer and started telling her story. How she came to the brothel? What happened to her?

"Love is the way of connecting two souls; not two bodies." "Transgenders are also human, don't harass them for their gender, don't hate them for their identity. Love them because they are also beautiful creatures of the God, Love them because they are also human."

Quotes from the novel

It started when she was twelve years old. She belonged to a poor family of Gaya city in Bihar. Like all other girls, she was too born with an innocent smile. In my adolescence, like every other girl, she too dreamt of my prince charming and how she will meet him. She was a princess in my eyes. She dreamt of a rich, handsome, intelligent man and getting married to him, my prince, wearing a wonderful wedding dress. She knows now that she cannot give birth to a child, but at the time she thought of becoming a mother and having two beautiful kids who would take care of me in my old age. We would all live in a lovely house, not a big one but a comfortable one, which would be filled with loads of happiness. But destiny had planned something else for her. Her parents sent her to an orphanage when she was just twelve years old. She learned many things there. She was very happy until she met Dheeraj, who killed Rajiya Amma, who raped her. He changed her whole life.

In Delhi, she met Rajveer in the Benz Cafe. They both fell in love but Rajveer's friends never liked Zeenat because she was a trans girl and belonged to a poor family. They both were happy in their life but one fine day Rajveer and Zeenat met with an accident while coming from birthday. After a few weeks when she opened her eyes, she came to know about Rajveer's death. She lost her all hopes but destiny didn't stop here and few unknown people kidnapped her and sent her to an orphanage.
