Ibrahim Bardhi (25 August 1942 – 4 September 2009) was an Albanian politician who served as chairman of the District Council for the region of Kavajë.[1] He was the uncle of the former Albanian Minister of Justice, Gazment Bardhi.
Career
A veterinarian by profession, before entering politics Mr. Bardhi served as deputy director of the state-owned Lekaj Agriculture Cooperative in the late '80s and soon after managed the operations of a meat packing plant outside the city of Kavajë. He retired from politics after completing his term in 1996. On November 2012, Kavajë City Hall awarded him posthumously with the title "Gratitude of the City" for his contributions in the fields of Agriculture and Veterinary.[2]
