Icare is a French and Belgium short film directed by Nicolas Boucart in 2017 and released in 2018 in cinemas and festivals. The film has the particularity to have been entirely shot on the Groix island in Brittany.[1]
The short has been presented and won awards in a number of festivals including the Hollywood Film Festival, the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, and the Brussels Short Film Festival where it won the Oscar Qualifying prize of Grand Prize in the National Competition.[2]
The short is shortlisted for the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film at the 91st Academy Awards.[3]
