Ichikoro
Ichikoro (イチコロ) is a Japanese Instrumental Band.
Overview
Ichikoro is a band led by the guitarist Ichika, after their Instagram performance videos attracted a lot of attention, both in Japan and overseas.
Kawatani Enon, also known as Think, was working on the musical accompaniment for a drama being televised on Fuji TV. He thought: "if you add a guitarist to the production team, then you become a real band", and so asked Ichika to join him.
The band consists of six members, each one with their own nicknames.
One (aka Ichika) on Guitar
Think (aka Enon Kawatani / 川谷絵音) on Guitar
Holy (aka Kyujitsu Kacho / 休日課長) on Bass
M (aka ちゃんMari / Chan-Mari / Fukushige Mari) on Keyboard
Vista (aka Kanade / 奏) on Guitar
Sugar (aka Satou Eitarou / 佐藤栄太郎) on Drums
The band's visuals (including logos and disc jacket designs) were created by illustrator Baron Ueda.
