Ichkerians (Chechen: Noxçmaxkaxoy, Russian: Ичкеринцы) The largest Chechen tukkhum from the historical region of Ichkeria [ru], where the bloodiest battles of the Caucasus War took place.[1] It includes the largest teips of Chechnya. They speak the Ichkerian (literary) dialect of the Chechen language.[2]
