Idan Tretout[edit]

Idan Tretout (born January 19, 2000) is an American basketball player who attends Wilbraham and Monson Academy in Wilbraham, Massachusetts. He was committed to the Harvard Crimsons of the Ivy League for the 2019–20 season.[1]


Early Life and High School Career[edit]

Tretout was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He attended Bishop Loughlin Memorial for two years before transferring to Wilbraham and Monson Academy in his sophomore year to reclassify.[2] He is a 1,000 point scorer[3] and was awarded the first team all Nepsac AA at Wilbraham and Monson Academy. His final five schools before committing to Harvard were USF, Yale, George Washington, Harvard, St Joseph's [4]

Recruiting[edit]

By consensus, Tretout was rated as a three-star recruit and the top shooting guard in the 2019 class. He was being recruited by twenty plus colleges before making his choice to commit to Harvard University. [5] He is ranked 18th in the state of New York, and 67th for his potion nationally.[6]
