Idealist commando camps

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Idealist commando camps are camps that were established in 1968 by order of the leader of the Republican Peasant Nation Party, Alparslan Türkeş. They provided paramilitary training to the youth affiliated with the Grey Wolves until 1978. It is estimated that more than 100,000 idealist commandos were trained in 34 camps established in cities such as Yozgat, Çankırı, Kayseri, Trabzon, Antalya, Ankara, İzmir and Istanbul in just 10 years.[1]
