Idle Adventure is a free-to-play incremental video game that is being developed by MonoGoose Studio. The game is an Incremental Idle RPG, and was first made public in 2016 on Android.
Story
The game is set on an unknown island where the main character has just returned home. Here he is greeted by his playful younger sibling, Jens, who informs him that someone/something has stolen the key to the house, and that they must retrieve the key as soon as possible to save Doggo (their dog?) who might still be inside.
Unfortunately, the main character seems to have forgotten how to use his imagination, so the adventure begins in the garden by defeating flowers and slaying ladybugs.
Main Features of the game
One of the main features of the game is called the 'Progression Bar', which is a bar that refills itself over time, each time providing the player with a reward: xp (based on the xp from the last defeated enemy) and some pixels.
The game deals with two different experience systems, 'Levels' and 'Ranks', which work in somewhat entirely different ways. Level ups provide the player with:
- Additional HP and HP regen (more at higher levels)
- Higher hit chance
- Lower chance to get hit
- Reduced glancing blows
Whereas Rank ups provide the player with:
- Additional HP and HP regen (Flat amount)
- Skill points
As the character gains levels, additional features are introduced:
- Pets
- Skill Tree/Talents
- This feature can actually be stolen from the shop, and bought later to receive a few extra skill points.
- Ascensions/Prestige system
- Autolooter (provides the player with a chance to loot stuff when idling)
- Enchanting & Upgrading
- Potions and other buffs
- Mini games such as Frogger and Fishing
- Raids where the player can find special items and compete with other players
