Idrees Ul Haq, full name Mirza Mohammad Idrees ul Haq Beigh, is a Kashmiri Engineer, innovator[2] and activist[3]. He is best known for innovations[4], social work, and was honored in 2005 by the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir in recognition of his social work. He was the first youth from Jammu and Kashmir to be invited for the Technology Transfer program at Israel [5]. He is currently the only person in the state of Jammu and Kashmir who provides Industrial Tie-up for Unsung Innovators through his organization Jammu and Kashmir Innovators Forum[6].
Early life
Idrees Ul Haq was born in Srinagar. His early studies took place in Green Valley Educational Institute in Srinagar, Kashmir, and he later moved to Jammu, having enrolled to study electrical engineering at Model Institute of Engineering and Technology, Jammu. His particular areas of interest are innovations, engineering, and writing in society.[7][8] [9][10][11]
