Ifeoma Okafor-Obi (born 9 February 1977 in Lagos) is a Nigerian businesswoman, humanitarian, educationist and entrepreneur. She worked as Director, business development at Aura by Transcorp Hotels Plc in 2021, where she steered her team towards business growth.[1][2] She also the director of operations at Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF), a philanthropic foundation that works in partnership with organizations such as the United Nations and other notable international organizations to create sustainable impact across Africa.[3] She was commended by her speech about Strong Female Entrepreneur at Eloy Conference.[4] She wrote her first book at 19, a step that brought her to the limelight when she entered for the BBC Writing Competition and became a finalist for Africa in 1996.[5] She holds a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from the University of Nigeria. She is married to Ejiofor Tony Obi and they have 3 children.
