Iftikhar Durrani is a business and management professional with over 30 years of experience in communication, media  and program management that involved planning, implementation and social development projects. Durrani is currently serving as adviser to Prime Minister of Pakistan on Media [1]. Durrani is also serving as Head of Central Media Department of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf [2], Pakistan's ruling party. Born in Abbottabad on June 20 1969, Durrani holds two Master Degrees in Political Science and Development Studies. Durrani was educated at George brown college Toronto and later attended National Defense University (NDU). Iftikhar Durrani has served as Advisor on Communication in Education Department to the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkwa in 2013. Worked as the Chief Executive Officer at the Global Integrated Education solutions (GIES) Dec 2013 – Nov 2015 [3].Iftikhar Durrani contributed to Pakistani print and electronic media channels/papers. He has worked with various government and private sector organisations.

Served as a member of visiting faculty in Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad School of Politics. Also served Member of visiting faculty in International Islamic University Islamabad Shari Department. Iftikhar Durrani is married and currently settled in Islamabad.
