Iget vape
The iget (i-get) vape is a disposable electronic cigarette that is currently one of many disposable vaporizers flooding the market in Australia.[1] This 'made in China' disposable vape, branded as 'iget', is a safe alternative to smoking [2] as it does not contain the same harmful chemicals as traditional cigarettes.[3]
Specs
The iget 1800 puff disposable is made of stainless steel and plastic, and is 14cm tall with a diameter of 1.9cm, and weighs around 45 grams. The internal battery is a lithium polymer battery suitable for a maximum of 1800 puffs. The 'e-juice' or 'e-liquid' used in the iget vape is made from vegetable glycerin, propylene glycol, flavor, as well as nicotine salt. This disposable vape is basic and cannot be modified, have batteries replaced, or e-liquid replenished.
Legality
In NSW it is illegal to sell [4] and use [5] electronic cigarettes such as the iget vape. These laws can be enforced by NSW Health Inspectors and can issue a $300 on-the-spot fine to anyone caught using disposable vapes with nicotine.
