Ignasi Puig Claret
Ignasi Puig Claret (Manresa, Barcelona, April 8, 1962) is an advertising entrepreneur, founding partner of SCPF agency (part of the WPP holding company) and CEO of SCPF America.

In 1985 he began his professional career in the advertising world at Delvico Bates agency, where he worked until 1987.[1] In 1989 he was appointed General Director of the advertising agency Backer Spielvogel Bates (Barcelona office) until 1992, when Delvico and BSB agencies merged; Puig was named General Manager of the new company.[1]
In January 1996 he created in Barcelona, along with three partners from Delvico Bates, the advertising agency SCPF,[2][3] whose name is made up of the initials of its four partners: Toni Segarra, Luis Cuesta, Puig and Felix Fernández de Castro;[3] Puig becomes Counselor.[4] In 1998 SCPF opened an office in Madrid and won contests to develop IKEA, BMW,[5] Vodafone and ING campaigns, among others.
In the year 2000 WPP buys 30% of the shares of SCPF, and both agencies are part of a direct marketing company, Mr. John Sample, with Puig Claret as part of the management team.[6]
In 2005 WPP completes the acquisition of SCPF;[4] as a result of the sale, Ignasi Puig starts in Miami SCPF América,[3][4][7] [8] with Subway and HSBC among its first clients, and subsequently Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Coca Cola, Banco Santander, Banco Sabadell, Mazda, Johnson & Johnson, Revlon,[9][3] among others. Also NGOs such as Partnership for a Drug Free America,[10] Red Cross and Medicos sin Fronteras, among others. The company opened offices in New York, Mexico City, Buenos Aires[11] and Bogotá.
Awards[edit]
With SCPF, Puig Claret won awards at the International Festival of Cannes[12] and the Festival Iberoamericano de la Comunicacion Publicitaria,[13] IAB Awards[14] and Effie Awards.[15] In 2009 the agency was recognized with the Coca-Cola Creative Excellence Award in Atlanta.
