Ilia Galán

'Javier Díez Galán[1], best known as Ilia Galán [2], is a Spanish poet and philosopher, born in Miranda de Ebro in 1966. Lecturer (Humanities), Aesthetics and Theory of Art at the Carlos III University, bacherlor of Arts (Philosophy) at University of Navarra and, (Journalism) at Universtiy of Lejona, PhD in Philosophy of Art at the Complutense University of Madrid with the thesis: Deus vel Ars sive  Natura: Shelling”, editor and founding member of the Philosophy magazine: Aula Cero, producer of the literary magazine: Ahora. Contributor and honoured collaborator at the Philosophy Faculty at the Complutense University of  Madrid. Studies also in Cambridge University (UK), and Boulogne-sur-Mer (France). Academic Visitor at the University of Sorbonne (Paris IV), University of Oxford, University of Exeter (UK), New York University, Harvard University and Università per Stranieri di Perugia (Italy). He has received a number of awards and grants from Universities, Government (Fullbright), and the Rich Foundation. He is essayist, poet, novelist, and columnist for many newspapers[3] (El País, Diario de Noticias, Diario de Burgos, Diario Palentino, Diario de Ávila, El Día de Valladolid, etc).
